Alan was a jack the lad and my first love he was a bit of a lad and a practical joker, he was killed tragically in 1982 and was only 19 his death was a terrible shock to everyone and i was left widowed at only 18 it was a difficult time his son had only just turned a year old it was like a nightmare i remember waking up everyday thinking that it was exactly that but it was not.
